The CityCare Board has both Executive and Non-executive Directors, and a staff-elected member.
CityCare has a highly experienced, skilled and competent Chief Executive and Executive Team in place. They provide strategic leadership and direction for the organisation, carry out business and strategic planning - including scanning the horizon and anticipating changing needs and emerging trends - to set plans and priorities for the future.
The Executive Team is responsible for strategic financial management and planning, strategic risk management, overall organisational development, staff development and the effective management and operation of all CityCare services - including compliance with all required legislation and standards.
They have excellent working relationships in place with leading local Commissioners, Strategic Leaders and key healthcare and community partner organisations. They lead and communicate the corporate vision and business priorities for CityCare and ensure CityCare contributes to a shared strategic vision for Nottingham and its people.
CityCare is represented on One Nottingham and on other key strategic forums including the Health and Wellbeing Board. The Executive Team leads on innovation and the implementation of CityCare’s corporate values - integrity, expertise, unity and enterprise - ensuring CityCare plays a leading role in local health and wider wellbeing provision as an innovative and entrepreneurial social enterprise.

- Growing and developing the organisation and its services to the local population and to Commissioners
- Ensuring the service contributes to achieving key public health and locally specified outcomes
- Enabling effective strategic risk management and clinical governance
- Troubleshooting and resolving major problems and incidents
- Ensuring the highest possible standards and excellence in service delivery are offered and maintained
- Leading relationships and liaison with Commissioners and local strategic partners
