We are delighted to share that CityCare Chair, Vicky Bailey, has been appointed as a Deputy Lieutenant for Nottinghamshire.
Deputy Lieutenants are appointed by the Lord-Lieutenant, His Majesty The King’s representative in the county, to support a wide range of civic and community duties. Appointments are made in recognition of an individual’s contribution to public life and service to their local community. Deputy Lieutenants undertake the role on a voluntary basis and help represent the Crown at events across Nottinghamshire.
Vicky will take on the role alongside her role as Chair of Nottingham CityCare, which she continues is doing with dedication and distinction, bringing a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to improving health and wellbeing for local people. Throughout her career, she has championed public service, community engagement and partnerships that make a positive difference to people’s lives.
Her appointment as Deputy Lieutenant is a significant honour and reflects her longstanding contribution to Nottinghamshire and its communities.
