The Staff Survey results are in! Many thanks to everyone who took part in the 2022 NHS National Staff Survey. The results have been published on the National NHS Staff Survey Coordination Centre alongside the results of all organisations that took part. These results can be found on the Co-ordination Centre website here: https://www.nhsstaffsurveys.com/

The Survey was carried out between September and November 2022 by the approved contractor Picker, on behalf of Nottingham CityCare Partnership.  We received 468 responses taking us to an overall response rate of 44% which was 13% less than the previous year of 620 responses (57%). The national overall response rate for comparative organisations was 57% (24,650 respondents).

One of our Strategic aims at CityCare is to ensure we provide rewarding working lives and careers  for colleagues and we remain committed to this going forward. Some of the things we have done in 2022 in response to the 2021 staff survey can be seen in a You Said We Did document on the CityCare website. The 2022 survey has highlighted that there is much more to be done to improve the experience of staff working at CityCare.

Whilst the results show there is much to be done at CityCare to improve overall staff satisfaction, the results do give us focus for making improvements. With this in mind, we will be working with our Leadership Council members and Trade Union Partners in developing the high priorities for improvement, linking this with the Cultural Audit undertaken in 2022.  We will also be working with teams to share the survey results, identifying locally what needs to be done to improve staff experience - we all have a part to play in making CityCare a great place to work.
