We are dedicated to providing care you can trust, behaving with compassion and working efficiently and effectively to deliver on our promises. You can have confidence in the care we provide, and we will always live by the NHS Constitution. Our expertise is grounded in professionalism and we are industry-recognised leaders in clinical research, service redesign and improved patient care.

We are committed to building strong working partnerships across the community and working hand in hand with our patients and our colleagues to improve health and wellbeing and deliver excellent quality care.

Our ambition is to work across organisational and social boundaries and lead meaningful change towards delivering a healthier future for all.

Watch our ‘We Are CityCare’ film below… we’re so proud of our wonderful staff who are making a difference every day to the health and wellbeing of our communities.

We are an outstanding provider of community health services for Nottingham, dedicated to improving the long-term health and wellbeing of our community.

We provide NHS services, but we're not the NHS.  Like the NHS, we deliver a range of healthcare services tailored to the needs of local people that are free at the point of delivery and we also offer the same T&Cs, pension and continuous service.

We are a social enterprise, which is a business operated to benefit society. We reinvest our profits back into the organisation or the local community.

Being a social enterprise gives us the freedom to be more flexible, innovative and responsive and work with local private, public and voluntary organisations to deliver the services local people need.

CityCare has a variety of roles and development pathways and we give people the opportunity to follow their passion. We welcome people from all skill sets, backgrounds and personal circumstances. Whilst we offer the Agenda for Change NHS contracts, being a social enterprise allows us to offer roles with more flexibility to fit around your personal and family commitments and offer continued training and development opportunities.

We’ve made it one of our strategic aims to provide rewarding working lives and careers, so within CityCare we’ll provide ongoing training and development to help you grow and be the best you can be!

Equality and Diversity

Nottingham CityCare Partnership including the board, staff and stakeholders are fully committed to promoting equality, diversity and human rights and achieving the elimination of unlawful discrimination. We are embedding equality and diversity within all aspects of the organisation, by consulting with patients and communities. We incorporate equality and diversity into our business planning and governance structures.

We are committed to achieving better health outcomes for all, improving patient access and experience and having a represented and supported workforce with inclusive leadership.

We promote equality, identify and eliminate inequalities in all aspects of service provision and employment.  We ensure our staff members are treated fairly, with dignity and respect and are given equality of opportunity to develop their full potential.

Nottingham is an ethnically and culturally diverse city.  The diverse nature of Nottingham’s communities is a huge asset that is valued and seen as one of the city’s great strengths. 34.6% of the population are from BAME groups (Census 2011); an increase from 19% in 2001 and 18% have a long-term illness or disability.  We welcome applicants from diverse communities.

Our plans

CityCare’s three-year strategic plan sets out our ambitions and plans for Nottingham’s citizens over the next three years, in line with the NHS Long-Term Plan. Our mission is to ‘Make a difference every day to the health and wellbeing of our communities’ and we will deliver it through our vision of ‘High quality, locally-led care’.

Health and social care services are changing nationally and locally and CityCare plays a crucial role in that change to treat our patients in their own homes and in the community, freeing up hospitals for those who truly need their special care. CityCare provides services in partnership with others to help make the whole system work better.

Our staff are at the heart of the service we offer to our patients. It is their skills, knowledge, experience and dedication that provide the quality of service we aspire to deliver. We will be investing in their training and development and supporting them to do their best.
