CityCare is proud to announce that Michaela Lea, one of our Student Nursing Apprentices, has been nominated and shortlisted for Apprentice Nurse of the Year at the Student Nursing Times Awards 2026.
The Student Nursing Times Awards celebrate outstanding achievement and commitment among student nurses and nurse apprentices across the UK, recognising individuals who go above and beyond during their training and placements. Being shortlisted for a national award is a significant achievement and reflects Michaela’s dedication, professionalism and passion for patient care.
Michaela has consistently excelled throughout her apprenticeship, both in her academic studies and across her clinical placements, earning exceptional feedback from educators and university tutors alike.
