CityCare are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Wood as our new interim Chief Executive.
Paul will be joining us from the end of September and will be with us for up to six months while we make a substantive appointment.
He has a wealth of experience spanning 35 years, including senior leadership roles in health and social care covering hospitals, community, mental health and primary care sectors, as well as system-wide transformation.
His most recent roles include Chief Executive Officer for OneNorwich primary care provider and Director of Transformation, Strategy and Planning for Sirona Community Services in Bristol. He has also held Deputy Chief Executive Officer positions in New Zealand and Canada with a focus on developing integrated care services, financial improvement and tertiary care networks.
Welcoming Paul to Nottingham CityCare, Chair Sherry Malik said: “We are delighted Paul is joining us and look forward to working with him. His expertise and experience will help us navigate the coming months as we look to appoint a permanent successor to Lou Bainbridge while continuing to work with our partners and commissioners to ensure we are delivering effective and efficient care that makes a real difference to the diverse and vibrant communities we serve.”
